At Vermillion Hotel Iloilo, we believe that hospitality should be thoughtful—not just in how we care for our guests, but also in how we care for our surroundings.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the simple, intentional choices we make every day. Rooted in our design philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, we embrace the beauty of simplicity, mindfulness, and respect for natural resources. This extends beyond aesthetics and into the way we operate — balancing guest comfort with responsible environmental practices.
Hotel Participation
Water Conservation
Guests are encouraged to reuse towels and linens during multi-night stays to reduce water and detergent usage.
Plastic Reduction
We provide refillable bathroom amenities and offer guests the option to request a complimentary pitcher of filtered water for refills during their stay. A bottle of water is still available in the room upon arrival for added convenience.
Waste Management
Vermillion practices proper waste segregation and works with accredited haulers to ensure responsible disposal and recycling processes.
Locally Sourced Materials
Wherever possible, we use locally crafted décor and furniture, supporting community artisans while reducing our carbon footprint.
Guest Participation
Sustainability is a shared effort. We gently encourage our guests to be mindful of energy and water use, to opt-in for towel and linen reuse, and to help us maintain a cleaner, greener hotel by following proper disposal guidelines.
Sustainability doesn't have to be loud to be impactful
At Vermillion, we believe small, intentional acts—done consistently—create meaningful change.
We continue to improve and explore better ways to reduce our impact, one thoughtful step at a time.
